November 13, 2023: Delhi saw a huge spike in air pollution levels and a smoky haze came back after people flouted a blanket ban on firecrackers on Diwali night. At 8 am, the AQI level was 438, which was under the severe category. Only 24 hours before this, on Diwali morning, AQI was at 269.
